About Our Border Collie Breeding Program
Every situation is different.
Ground Transport
At Herd That Farms, we understand the importance of safe and reliable transportation for your new addition. If you are not incredibly far, I use a trusted transporter who has been working with me for about 4 years and is wonderful. He picks up the puppy directly from my farm and transports them safely to your door or a meeting point of your choice. I am more than happy to provide his contact details upon request to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about the process. If you are farther away, we do have additional transport options that can be discussed to best accommodate your needs. Your baby’s safety and your peace of mind are our top priorities!
Flight Transport
If you are far away (meaning the transport could take 1 full day or more via ground), I always recommend flight as it is less stressful on the puppy. At Herd That Farms, we prioritize the well-being of our animals, and flying is generally quicker and less taxing than ground transport. Do keep in mind that these puppies should be at least 10 weeks old for flying due to lung development. We have a trusted company that we work with for such transport needs. They have consistently been incredibly responsive and easy to work with, ensuring a smooth transportation process for your new companion. If you're interested, I'd be happy to provide more information and help arrange the transport.
***Beware of Scams***
At Herd That Farms, we know that the safe transport of your new animal friend is a top priority! Scammers are increasingly targeting the sale and transport of animals, which is why we've taken extra measures to ensure a secure and reliable experience. While you are free to choose any transporter you trust, we confidently recommend two highly reputable companies we've worked with in the past. These organizations have consistently demonstrated integrity, competence, and a genuine caring attitude towards our animals during transit.
We also encourage exploring other options, but make sure to thoroughly vet any transporter you consider to avoid falling victim to scams. Look for reviews, ask for references, and never hesitate to ask questions about their processes to ensure your animal arrives safely and healthily to its new home. Let Herd That Farms help you start this journey off right, with peace of mind every step of the way!
